Thanks for joining me!
You may have stumbled upon this blog by mistake or maybe you were sent here by a friend. No matter how you ended up here you are always welcomed.
I want to start out with a quote I read once and it spoke to me. It seemed as if it was written for my life as a mom and the adventures I found myself on. I hope in a sea full of unpredictability you always find your way home and yearn for more adventures.

If you ask me why I started this blog I actually have to thank a few people.
First and foremost my fiancé, who is my biggest supporter. He comes along on 95% of my adventures. He puts up with my highly detailed and exhausting travel plans, the photo ops that include heights (side note: he is petrified of heights!), and all my reviews that I consider the good the bad and the ugly of my trips. Without him this wouldn’t be possible.
I must also acknowledge where my love for travel started. I grew up with a grandmother who was a travel agent. It was never what do you want for your birthday or graduation or Christmas…. instead I heard where should we go!
My parents who always made sure that this outgoing, adventure, seeking, only child would never feel the limits of space and money…. I was never told something was too far or too high. I am so grateful for their support and always open wallets. My mom is actually one of my most favorite travel partners… She always drives when I become too tired, lets me pick the side of the bed I want to sleep on, brings something I am sure to forget, and leaves me fresh towels (something my kids never do!).
Last but not least, my children play a HUGE roll in this blog. I wanted to write about my travels but more importantly I wanted to share how families can find travel as a positive must do again experience. I am not a psychologist, a travel agent or flight attendant, I can’t place the title of the best mom in the world on my back, and I am not a life coach by any means. I do however believe we learn from those around us, we learn from our mistakes, and most importantly we learn from our travels. All of which I promise to share with you. So without my children this blog would not be possible or make sense.
So however you got here, I hope you always find your way back. Use this site as comic relief, use it for information on upcoming travels of your own, or use it as an escape from reality or a glimpse into it because you are always welcomed here.
